Age 4 to 10 years -
"Raising Kids without Raising the Roof!" helps parents support the developmental tasks of this stage - to be able to separate from parents easily, develop a well-working conscience and good impulse control, settle down to learn at school, have a good sense of "self" and establish friendships outside the family. Children's wishes and feelings - both overt and obscure - play an important part in behaviour as do the complex feelings that mothers and fathers experience in relationship to one another and their children. Both normal and diagnosed difficulties are explored. This program helps parents help their children manage themselves and their relationships with others in a productive, positive way.
