Infant/Child/Teen |
Treatment for infants and young children is offered through the parents. For older
children and under certain circumstances with adolescents, parents
meet initially to explain the problem and to assess whether this is
the treatment of choice. |
With
infants, toddlers and young children, Mrs. Burrows offers therapy
via the parent, where parents meet with her to gain a deeper understanding
of the child's needs and they in turn help the child. This service
is offered in
private sessions or in groups. Difficulties in any of the following
areas might warrant treatment.
• Anxiety Disorders
•
Attention-Deficit and Disruptive Behaviour Disorders
•
Eating Disorders
•
Elimination Disorders
•
Learning and Communication Disorders
•
Mood Disorders (e.g., Depressive Disorders)
•
